EVENTS THAT MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
Churchill hosts a variety of events throughout the year that not only builds our Scholarship Fund but also brings our community together in celebration and support.
Our signature annual fundraiser alternates each year between the Starfish Soirée Dinner & Auction and the Churchill Golf Tournament. We also host our annual Sip & Savor, a festive tasting event featuring local breweries, restaurants and premium wines.
All proceeds from these events benefit the Churchill Scholarship Fund, which provides essential financial assistance to families who might not otherwise be able to access a Churchill education. When you attend, sponsor, or support these events, you’re making a direct difference in the lives of our students – and in the strength of our entire school community.

SIP & SAVOR
Sip & Savor is Churchill’s annual tasting celebration – an evening of community, connection and culinary delight. Guests enjoy a wonderful selection of wines, craft spirits and tastings from local breweries and restaurants. With live music setting the tone and a premier silent auction adding to the excitement, Sip & Savor is more than just a festive gathering, it’s an event with purpose. Proceeds directly support the Churchill Scholarship Fund, providing essential financial assistance to families in our community.

FALL FUNDRAISER – Almonds Sale
30th Annual DeDe’s Chocolate-Covered Almonds Sale
We are thrilled to announce this year’s 30th Anniversary of DeDe’s Chocolate-Covered Almonds Fundraiser! DeDe Lambert, this fundraiser’s namesake, was a past President of the Churchill Board of Trustees and Alumni parent and grandparent, whose son was one of the inaugural 21 students in Churchill’s first summer school class of 1978. DeDe passed away in April 2024, leaving behind a legacy of “paying it forward.” We are happy to honor DeDe each fall with the sale of DeDe’s Chocolate-Covered Almonds, supporting the Churchill Scholarship Fund.
Each box contains one pound of gluten-free, kosher, chocolate-covered almonds and is classically packaged in a white signature box, and imprinted with Churchill Center & School’s logo. Since it’s inception, this fundraiser has raised more than $854,000 for the Scholarship Fund. They are treat, a gift, and a small, well-deserved indulgence to yourself or to anyone on your holiday list!

Join us for Churchill Center & School’s signature biennial event – the Starfish Soirée Dinner & Auction, our largest and most impactful fundraiser benefiting the Churchill Scholarship Fund.
This unforgettable evening brings together our entire community – parents, alumni, friends, faculty, staff and former students – for a night of celebration and support. Guests will enjoy a premier dinner, full bar and an exciting live auction, along with an extensive silent auction featuring exclusive experiences and curated items.
Proceeds from the Starfish Soirée go directly toward scholarships that help make Churchill’s transformative education accessible to families in need. Together, we empower bright students with learning disabilities to reach their full potential and successfully return to mainstream classrooms with confidence.
Since its inception, the Dinner & Auction has raised over $3.4 million in scholarship support!
Churchill Center & School Golf Tournament
What a beautiful day in every way! Churchill’s 8th Biennial Golf Tournament was held on Monday, May 5, 2025 at Greenbriar Hills Country Club to great success. Thank you to all the golfers, volunteers, sponsors, donors, bidders and guests for making it such an outstanding golf outing!
Everyone had a fun day, and most importantly, we raised a record-breaking $138,440 for the Scholarship Fund!

Biennial Dinner & Auction
Every other year, Churchill hosts a Dinner & Auction to raise money to support the Scholarship Fund. The Auction is the single largest fundraiser we hold and a wonderful opportunity for the entire Churchill community to get involved, interact and reconnect. It brings together parents, alumni parents, friends, faculty, staff and alumni for a very special evening to support our amazing students. The evening includes a premier dinner, full bar, an elite live auction and a variety of categories in our impressive silent auction.
Since the inception of our biennial Starfish Soirée Dinner & Auction, we have raised over $3 million in scholarship aid for children and families who could not attend Churchill without financial assistance. These funds have made a profound difference in our school community!
Churchill Center & School’s Starfish Soirée Dinner & Auction was held on March 1, 2024 at the Hilton St. Louis Frontenac Hotel, and it was a night we not soon forget! What a star(fish)-studded event and evening of unmatched generosity, overwhelming community spirit, unwavering support and uncompromising enthusiasm.

RUN WITH RANKIN
The 3rd Annual and FINAL Run with Rankin event was held in April 2023. It was a special evening and time to come together to honor and acknowledge Mr. Rankin and his 40 years of dedication and service to our Motor Skills program and our school!
We raised over $9,000 for Churchill’s Scholarship Fund!
