Alexis King joined Churchill Center & School in the fall of 2020 as School Nurse and Front Desk Administrative Support. She received her registered nursing degree from Forest Park Community College and then gradated from Central Methodist University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. From July 2005 through September 2020, Alexis worked at St. Luke’s Hospital in St. Louis, mostly providing care to orthopedic patients. Alexis shares that she is passionate about nursing and providing safe, effective care. She holds a very special place in her heart for children and believes that respecting and treating people the way they should be respected and treated is most important. Oh, and laughter is always therapeutic!
Outside of Churchill, Alexis enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband, their teenage daughter and two young children. In addition, she also truly likes cleaning and doing laundry (yes, really!), as well as getting outside, going to a park or the pool, trying out new foods at fun restaurants, traveling, ice cream, and much to her little girl’s dismay, Mickey Mouse (over Minnie Mouse)!
