2017 Year In Review

Mrs. Shaw’s Language Arts class is busy completing their personal 2017 “Year in Review” essays. Students are collaborating and writing about their greatest lessons learned, hardest things they encountered, favorite memories and what they loved most about 2017.

Here are a few student excerpts…

Greatest Lesson Learned:

Gus B-M.: The greatest lesson I learned in 2017 was to push myself.

Tyler M.: The greatest lesson I learned in 2017 was don’t shoot where you can’t see.

Hardest Thing:

Siena R.: The hardest thing in 2017 was losing my grandma.

Isaac M.: The hardest thing in 2017 was going to a new school, Churchill, but my favorite memory was making new friends.

Favorite Memory:

Riyaz R.: My favorite memory of 2017 was moving on to Wilson® Book 6.

Helen C.: My favorite memory of 2017 was getting my puppy, S’more.

What I Loved:

Lindsey S.: What I loved about 2017 was that I made many new friends, I got used to Churchill, and I became a fast runner.

Joey S.: What I loved about 2017 was going to Honolulu, Hawaii.

We’re looking forward to learning more things about ourselves every day in 2018 and finishing this school year strong!
